Navapashanam Idols...

Navapashana consits of the following items :

Veeram
Pooram
Rasam
Jathilingam
Kandagam
Gauri Pasanam
Vellai Pasanam
Mridharsingh
Silasat

It is the poison solidified, thus the solidified the essence of Nava Pashanam forms the idol. Pashanam means poison. If it exceeds the proper proportion it will become poison. There is a special stone too called Pashanam!

It is customary to plant a stone on the 16th day of death of a person. That too is called Pashanam. In Palani not one Pashanam but nine Pashanams have been used. Eighty one Siddhars joined Bogar, mixed 81 Pashanams, converted it into 9 mixtures and made this image. That is why it is called Nava Pashanam. We have heard of 18 Siddhars. Their disciples were 81. The Pashanam was burnt by 9 type of fuel, filtered 9 times ( 9 x 9 =81 ) and that means 81.

1. Avarai, Chittamurutti - With this fuels they will heat for disease caused by heat.
2. Usil, Ilandai - By heating with this fuels, they cured discapes of eye, nose, ear and feet.
3. Iluppai, Tamarind - For oils for external use.
4. Vembu (Neem), Pooarasu, Arasu - for diseases of Vadha.
5. Nuna, Vanni, Mavilangam - for Vadha diseases external and internal.
6. Nelli (Amla), Vembu (Neem), Vila for Pitha ills.
7. Usil, Vel, Konrai, Vengai; for Phlegm.
8. Panai (Palm), Thennai (coconut), Vembu (Neem); for all medicines which contain Rasa.
9. Vel, Vengai; for medicines which contain iron.

After heating with the obove 9 types of fuel they will filter 9 times.

1. Excrement of Kadai 1
2. Kowdri 3
3. Kukkudam 10
4. Varaham 50
5. Peacock 100
6. Elephant 1000
7. Manal ( sand ) 90
8. Earth 4 finger measure
9. Gram 800

The first six are heated by the fuel then spreading sand, buried in earth to a depth of 4 finger lengths. Then burnt by fuel of excreta of cow.

A substance called pashanam is sold in shops. Lingam, Chendooram, Gaudhakam, Padharasam, Rasakarpuram, Vediuppu, Paraiuppu, Chavuttuppu, Valaiuppu, Erukam flower, Kanthakam, Lokam, Venkaram, Changuppodi, Kalnar, Silachit, Chatravedi, Poonir, Chippithasan, Erukkampal, Kallippal, Thurusuparpam, Chippi, Chunnam, Anda Chunnam, Porikaram, Thalakam, Kal Channambu, Corel, Tin, Evacharam, Sambarani, Iron, Manosilai, Thakkam,Aritharam, Kundumani all these are ingredients in the pashanam.

When all these things are heated and filtered a semi liquid mass hardens into a stone.

Everyday ablutions are performed. During Kartigai days it will be in hundreds. These ablution provide not only grace of Muruga but also cures for ills.

When milk ablutions are performed, the milk after coming in contact with the Navapashana idol, it absorbs all its medicinal qualities. The beauty is that for a long time the milk is not spoiled.
Similarly in the case with sandal ablution. The sandal paste over the idol is removed in the shade. A process to preserve the sandal paste has been finished by Somaley.

We ourselves should purchase good sandal bars and grind it . Kasturi, Korochanai, Saffron, Pachaikarpuram, Kesari Powder, Sandal pieces, Sandal attar, panneer, Punugu, Poolankizangu. Mattipal should be mixed with sandal in a proportion of 1 : 1 tola. one tola is 12 gms which is equal to old one rupee weight. Now it has become a medicine.

Rangoli...

Rangoli in Indian culture had a special significance, rangoli was asked to draw using the flour ,by all the women, ahead of their threshold (entrance of their abode) not as a purpose of decorating the place where they dwell, but this practice had a reason which not many till date understand. This was asked to do because, by doing so the micro-organisms and very small species like ants will be fed, whom at-times we stab, ruin their routine and cause damage to them, knowingly or unknowingly. To restore the value of humanity and as a token of our apology for at-times being the cause of their melancholy we indirectly feed them with what we can.

Rangoli now-a-days are painted and also are being drawn with eroded stone powders or stones being powdered which is so not recommended. Rangolis are not drawn to impress people but to feed a being which is in real need to quench its hunger, irrespective of what category of species they belong to and to apologize to them for the inconvenience we cause to them, (as every living being in this world irrespective of what ever they are, do, have the right to live. But, we kill them as we being dominant of all the species, thus we do owe an apology to them all) thus we give them what we can.

Now we have rangolis very colorful, as we mix a lot of colours with the flour we use, to draw. Which again is not advisory. In those days we used grains of different colours, pounded them to powder and these were used for making the rangoli colorful. There were petals of flowers and also vegetable and fruit chops used for colorful rangolis. The only main purpose was to make food available to those beings to whom we have been injust.

Too many people have doubts about the beliefs Hindus had, regarding earth, that they believed that the earth was flat:

Accordingly, that was not what they believed in, but instead they had lot of stories and puranas depicting that earth was a globe, for instance we said:

1. ParashuRama went around the earth 21 times killing all the kshatreya men to avenge his father’s death. “To go around the earth”, this could have been told only if the “earth” was believed to be a globe.

2. In another purana varaha murthy(an avathar of vishnu) carries bhoomi in between his tusks in his incarnation of a wild boar, the “earth” was been rescued who was in the form of globe, who once was thrown down into a very large water body by hiranyaaksha a demon and simultaneously fights with the demon while having earth in between his tusks and I don’t think varaha could have carried Bhoomi in between his tusks and simultaneously fight if it was flat (common sense).

3. We use the word “bhoo gola” to define the solid structure of earth which means, a globe.
This delusional idea of the earth being assumed to be flat was after people started invading India and forcefully imposed their beliefs on Indians. Which or-else would have been better undisturbed.

Magnets...

As believed, it was a shepherd called magnus who discovered magnet which so was named after him, 4oo0 years ago. But Chinese invented compass 4500 years ago(which of course was developed (much before than magnus could find) using magnetic technology) which they found along the Indus valley and yet the credit goes to the shepherd who just found it and did nothing much. We Indians had words in Sanskrit for molecules, ions, waves, electricity(saudhamini), they also had explanations for electric waves and magnetic waves (these were done thousands of years before) just because we didn’t project our ideas, scientific improvements and views to the world, thus weren’t recognized. We also had carbon nano technology for the sharpness of the swords being used and for many other reasons too…

Soundis (Bramhins)

These are a category of Brahmins who were being cursed to be gluttons. It so happened once that these pack of bramhins who had been to a place to perform pooja, due to hunger and tiredness mispronounced the Vedas for which they were being cursed saying “thou would dine more than adequacy” and why is it only those pack of Brahmins ,gluttons? And consume food equal that of a feast of which ten can. It is believed that they were also being cursed to perform only thithis, a few say. As they belong to the lowest creed among the Brahmin clan.

Clones:

In Puranic literature one speaks of a certain Daksha who was asked by the Supreme to procreate living creatures. He is said to have produced ten thousand sons by cloning his own cells (and some say that these 10,000 were cloned from a single son he procreated) who were called "Hayashvas" (Joyful Horses). These may be regarded as the first recorded instances of human clones since all the children are said to have been perfectly identical. But they all became ascetics. This happened again. The third time Daksha initiated physical procreation, and his wife Ashini gave birth to sixty daughters. Of these thirteen were married to a divine personage named Kashyapa. In this view, then, every being in the world is an offspring of Kashyapa and Daksha's thirteen daughters.

Cloning (avathar): the avathar or incarnation of Vishnu or other gods like Shakthi (kali, durga etc). In Shiv purana there is a story wherein parvathi who initially would be very dark in complexion, will fall in love with Shiva and performs tapas(penance) and finally she wishes to get rid of her complexion, hence she draws the melanin from her skin and from the melanin she drew kali was being born.

Similarly when Vishnu decides to descend on earth to restore dharma he himself is not born, a cell of his which is compared to an atom of him, where him being the source is cloned to produce a character very much of his kind who possess those qualities, which is expected for a divinely being to possess for the accomplishment of a deed, to restore dharma. Thus, each of his avatars have got percentage variations, when compared with the source(Vishnu) and are rated in terms of kalas.

Though these sound fictional, the detailed procedural process is being mentioned in the Vedas (as, how to clone) which are much advanced than the recent technology in use but, we make use of natural products instead of chemicals.

Artificial Insemination:

When Vishnu disguised himself as a beautiful maiden (Jagan mohini) to distract the Asuras from the divine nectar, which turns an individual immortal after consumption. Thus after bestowing victory to the devathas, everything ended happily, but an individual very desperate to have a sexual intercourse with the damsel he saw (Mohini) though he knew that vishnu was the one in disguise, that was none other than Shiva, neither did Vishnu disagree for his proposal. (Many have a misconception that vishnu gets converted into a woman which is so not true, but the actual fact is that, he still was a man though he was quenching the sexual urge of shiva (with a male reproductive organ) both Vishnu and Shiva were men Vishnu had just disguised and that’s the reason, semen of shiva’s does not enter the reproductive organ of Vishnu and thus when Shiva’s seeds were ejaculated, vaayu or pawan collected them and inseminated them artificially into Anjana’s womb who was performing penance, for a child) and gave birth to Hanuman. Here vaayu acts only as a doctor, of this era.

There are many other stories from mahabharath: That a king who went on hunting saw two deers mate and who couldn’t control himself and masturbates his semen out, who later did not want to waste his seed and hence he requests the birds to deliver it to his newly married wife, who then inseminates his seeds into her womb and gets pregnant.

A sage whose seeds will be shed on a lotus when he sexually gets excited, and thus when a princess visits the river bank to take bath, see the lotus floating towards her and thus when she attempts to inhale the fragrance of the flower the sage’s seed enter into her nose and reaches her womb, which gets her pregnant and later he himself marries the princess, and many such stories which speaks about artificial insemination.

Test-Tube Babies:

According to a hymn in the Rig Veda (VII.33.13), which has a striking resemblance to the genesis of a test-tube baby. It says, in effect that when the Vedic gods Mitra and Varuna saw the beautiful nymph Urvasi, their seeds fell. One of these fell into a jar, and it was from there that the sage Agastya was born. The idea of an infant growing up in a jar is a prescient account of what was to come centuries later.

In our age, we also have cases where a pre-maturely born infant is kept in an incubator, there to grow for some weeks or months. In the Mahabharata we read about two rival families, the Pandavas and Kauravas. The latter are one hundred in number. Here is how the hundred brothers were born along with one sister.While Queen Gandhara was carrying an over due embryo, she heard that her husband's brother's wife had given birth to a son which would make him eligible for royal succession. In her anger:

"she struck her womb with great violence... And as a result there came out of her womb ... a hard mass of flesh. When she was about to throw it away, a wise instructed her: "Let a hundred pots full of clarified butter be brought instantly, and let them be placed at a concealed spot. In the meantime, let cool water be sprinkled over this ball of flesh."

That ball of flesh, then, sprinkled over with water, became divided into a hundred and one parts about the size of a thumb. These were then placed in pots with clarified butter that had been placed at a concealed spot and watched. Then, in due course, the hundred brothers and one sister were born, and they who came to be called Kauravas because they were from the family of Kuru.

We may never know whether something like this ever happened. As long as we confine ourselves to the world such as we understand it, it may strike some people as too much of a stretch of the imagination to believe that it was actually so. Yet, there are a great many in the world who have no problem believing in such matters. Be that as it may, the description of embryos being nurtured in jars, which provided nourishment to them while they were becoming mature has a remarkable resemblance to test-tube babies.

Electricity:

As we say that the invention of electricity and the ideas the westerners had about this was around 16th century from the jerk of a frog’s feet, amber, static energy etc etc etc…

But, if we have keenly noticed, Sanskrit was one of the oldest languages known to man on earth. Sanskrit thus possess a word called “saudhamini” which means current (moving electric charges, electricity generated from lightning) and also Vedas contain information regarding the generation of electricity Vedas are as old as pani and prakrith( languages much older than Sanskrit) so how old could the ideas of generating electricity would be? Too hard to guess, as to how did they experiment these ideas?

1. Medical Science & Technology In Indian Myth & Vedas...

Medical science and technology in Indian myth and vedas, which projects the advancement in scientific knowledge!!!

As there are a lot of facts in this world which are astonishing and mysterious.

~Like you can never see a crow mate;

~Egg having the most fragile shell, can never be broken when pressure applied as shown, (neither can an elephant break it this way(as shown), even if its foot being placed and applied pressure on it);

~An Ant can kill an Elephant if entered into its ears and thus elephants keep flapping their ears;

~Bats eat and excrete (both) from their mouth;

~Fishes have the capability to hatch their eggs just by their eye sight (focusing on the eggs);

~Tortois can hatch eggs just by thinking about its eggs;

~Swans have the ability to separate milk from water;

In olden days to maintain the crispness of an eatable a few grains of rice were dropped into the container which contained the crispy eatable.

~Reproduction of Seahorses is unusual because the male is the one that becomes pregnant. Seahorses are monogamous and will only mate with one partner. The male becomes pregnant when a female deposits her eggs into his pouch.

~The crows can always see with either of its 2 eyes, and can’t use both for visualization as what the rest of the species do;

~An earth worm though has got the most tender and sensitive body, if cut into two or more for howmany ever times it won’t die, but rather those segmented divisions become independent beings;

~Every white headed eagle will have at least a twig of sanjeevani in its nest and much more astonishing secrets of nature are still not disclosed to us

But, most of our own invention is still not being disclosed to the world and to us, due to our ignorance and lethargic factors. Our greatest contribution to the world of science were the Vedas and puranas which gave us not only the ideas but also the complete details to accomplish the desired task which we now call the modern science and technology.

The Mysterious Transgenders...

It has been a mystery about the transgender, though through the recent published works of great authors and furnished details by excavators and scientists who have been exploring the roots of transgender origin; it has been evident that it started from India.

It started in India, because ancient Indians had much exposure and acceptance of people of all kinds and the others like Greeks, Egyptians and many others had a very wide exposure during their civilization due to which gained fame and thus were listed as one among the most famous ancient civilizations.

These are called Hijras, Kojas, Ali, Thirunangai and are known in many other names, in ancient India they were known as the klibas (men, who turn transgender) and svairinis (girls , same) [These subjective terms were not only used for guys and girls who were transgendered but, to also those who belonged to the category of “LGBT”] these are considered lucky as they are believed to be a form of lord Krishna in the great epic Mahabarath. Their blessings or curse is believed, will become true. The things which people receive from them is considered very lucky and is believed that it would be a multiplying factor for whatever they receive from them and hence we find people taking money from them and keep it in a place where the cash or the profit made and would multiply. There were few women in ancient India who got blessed by them or took sindhoor in alms (a symbol of women being married and a mistress of someone) this was done for their husband’s longevity. Hence, they had great respect in ancient times.

These transgender have a set of rules which are unexplainable and none knows the reason for the same.

1. They do not give anything to anyone at that very instant when asked.

2. They do not come begging house to house, rather would beg in public places.

3. None can see their corpse, it seems the pupils of the same community take it to a place for the cremation when the whole residence is asleep and none have been the proof of their cremation other than the (vettiyaan) the person who guards the graveyard (only a few hijras), but there are much more who strictly follow the rules being hijras who still have remained a mystery as to what do they do with the corpse?, where do they take it? And many other questions unanswered. They keep clapping for which nobody has the exact answer.

Scientifically these hijras once proper male or female born kids but once after attaining their puberty, due to a deficient hormone out of many, turn out to be the reason of decline in their lives. It’s believed that breasts are found developed for men during their puberty and it don’t for women, similarly the women have body hair grown like men and their periodic menstrual cycles stop. But, there are many found nowadays claiming themselves to be hijras who do not possess any of these above mentioned qualities and are cross dressers but they are also called hijras in a few ancient reports.

The saga of a hijra’s life is very filled with agony, humiliation and grief though the origin of theirs is divine, as per the great epic Mahabharata:

During, the latter part of Kurukshethra the pandavas performed a yagna which would be accomplished by a human sacrifice to Kali, but that wasn’t easy because the individual to be sacrificed was expected to possess qualities of a special kind (regarding his/her physique, time of birth and kundali, samudrika lakshan etc) later it was ARAVAN, son of Arjun and Uloochi who was being chosen (some call him IRAVAN). When all the pandavas and others conveyed the same to Aravan he at first did object (as per few scripts) later he did accept but on a condition which he laid, which was that he wanted to get married before he could be sacrificed(but he never did mention, a girl). Krishna promised him that his desire will be quenched.

Later they proclaimed, for a teenager (girl) who would be rewarded, if she did agree to marry Aravan who would be sacrificed in a yagna performed by the pandavas for their victory in Kurukshethra. But, they found none of the girls in and around the kingdom approaching them regarding the proposal, as none wanted to be ill-fated to live a life of a widow at a very young age.

Hence Krishna made use of the loop hole, of him not mentioning the gender he wanted to marry and thus, he himself dressed as a damsel from a far away land and he approached the pandavas and agreed for the proposal of getting married to Aravan.

Aravan was outwitted, and was being married to Krishna (hence was called Aravani as he married Aravan). No sooner, his desire of getting married was being accomplished; he was being sacrificed in the yagna.

After which Krishna had to perform the ritual of an Indian married woman who lost her husband (when a married woman has lost her husband should break her bangles, erase the sindhoor and the removal of mangal soothra etc).

Hence in India, the transgender are seen in the form of Krishna, who even today, till date, From different parts of the country and even abroad visit the temple of Aravan to perform the same rituals as Krishna did, every year (Deity worshiped: Sri Iravan (Aravan in Tamil) and Sri Krishna as Mohini-murti.), where they will be tied a thali or mangalsoothra by the priest of the temple that night and later the next day morning they cry in grief for losing the husband by performing the rituals. Tens of thousands of cross dressers, transgender and homosexual men assemble together for what is perhaps the largest of all third-gender festivals in India. At the climax, an effigy of the local Koothandavara deity (Iravan) is burned and thousands of cross dressers express their great distress by wailing, beating their chests, breaking their bangles, etc. When: The main festival falls on the Tuesday before the full moon of Vaishaka (April-May; called Chaitra in Tamil Nadu). The entire festival begins four days before that.

The main deity of koothandavar temple :

The transgender performing the rituals:

The burning of Aravan’s effigy:

Scientifically speaking, this was done to bring down the level of grief that a transgender would posses for living a life of humiliation, baseless, uncorroborated, for which a few thought, should be provided an outlet for their distress and agony. Thus an event was arranged where people who belonged to the stigma of third-sex would assemble and dissipate their spasm, life has provided to them.

Aghoris...

These people are those who renounced the world and the worldly pleasures, their policy in life are slightly different from those who follow the path of sanyasa. These are the worshippers of aghora and bhairav (these two are Roudra or furious forms of Shiva). They consume urine, mala (excreta), shava (dead bodies) which according to them is mandatory for them to be consumed as a part of their diet, because they believe that god created a few process and matter in this world for a reason and those should not be wasted, their principle is to not waste anything that has been created by god in the form of nature, and was done for a purpose and thus should not be wasted. It is believed that they even consume their guru’s or teacher’s corpse as a token of their gratitude and respect, and the person who is dearest to them will consume their guru’s brain as the information stored in the brain will be restored in the one who consumes it and preserves the skull for his further progress to scholar much more vidyas. Though this behavior of theirs was a barbarian act, they were very powerful, even though their habituals are perplexed as they smoke, booze soma rasa and also have sex occasionally(as they consider themselves to be in a position of god, and behave as gods, they do everything god does, like having sex like Shiva does, booze as the devathas – demigods did), they had sex for a reason, as a person when ejaculates his semen will lose interest on sex for a few hours for how much desperate he would be (They should not have such thoughts and if suppose they did, they shouldn’t perform the rituals or poojas to the god with such filthy thoughts in their mind, rather get rid of that by performing the needy), they had a couple of women (dasis or narthakis who also possessed a few powers as the aghories did) with whom they had sex with, this was done to, not divert their mind towards sex and rather dodge the same, they never wished to get in contact with the urbanized version of the world as they wished to live in their own environment with people of similar mindset. There are records of women aghories too. Aghories are different from kapalikas, tantriks, maya vidya praveenas etc, who had the power to enslave the demi-gods and a few other gods too (except hanuman(a monkey god) they say as he is very powerful, at times he was used for the purpose of the same) whom they forced to accomplish the deeds they desired, the question which arises in a few is that, “if this is the case, then what is the use of praying gods who cannot protect themselves?” and yet this ends with a phrase saying “All happens for a reason” a statement to convince one’s self and to build hopes on god.

Though we believe that these aren’t gods who we think that they are but just are assigned jobs to accomplish a few actions in accordance his wish and will, so who is this? This is whom we call the Brahman, the one who has got no shape, no sex, and no abode does this person have nor does he leaves a trace behind of his. He also is called the “Paramathma” (not to confuse this with Brahma). Thrimurthis was his creation to create, protect and destroy as a recurring cycle, who also are mediums to communicate with Brahman (whom we also is recognized as the Vidhi, who designs our destiny of our next birth) and are those through which we see the Brahman and accept Brahman in their forms. To unite our Soul (Athma) with Paramathma (the supreme soul) there are just two steps:

1. Self recognition
2. Self realization

The first 1being Self recognition where one has to recognize himself as to what he is? This needs time and loneliness, with concentration.

The second being Self realization where one after identifying one’s self as to what he is, later should try to understand as to why is he so?

When he gains the answers for these, he conquers the most overwhelming desires in life and can have them under control. Thus his Athma becomes pure without desires, except but pure Bhakthi Bhaav and can have control over mishaps and haps even, which can escalate his Athma to unite with the Paramathma.

The concept of Prethathma and Paramathma: God conveys a message that the one who renounces the world, his Bhav and Bhandhan (relationships and desires) can reach him and solvate in the Paramathma, the supreme soul. When a person renounces all these he will have no choice to think about and devote his life to god. But, when chooses to have all his attention, feelings for a particular pupil or a flock of people, rather having the same on god who created him, is indirectly choosing the latter over god. This act of his/her will make god feel not to accept his/her Athman, as he would not feel like opting for something which did not opt him. As a result this Athman would let to wander as a Prethathma rather submerging with Paramathma.

Vedas not made use...!

The Brahmins of today, almost all, do not understand that Vedas are not just to be recited but, instead should be understood. We have lot many information which remains veiled and are wasted. We have the construction of airplanes (of solar energy), submarines, ships, manaschlith vaahan (a vehicle which can move as fast as our mind), we have the generation of electricity and answers for most of the question that science could not. All it needs is a perfect translation, as we have lost most of the important books which bore information found nowhere, to different countries and creed of people who invaded India and were being forced to be educated in English by Britishers, which later became mandatory and lost our original form of education and are behind something which teaches us nothing but sustains us in a state of duality when shot with a question.

Yes I do agree, that it’s quite difficult to translate them and adjoin them with their proper match, as the design, construction procedure, materials to be used and the way to use is all mentioned in four different Vedas, but to get them together and to experiment on them, for it to result in success needs time, patience and knowledge. But to make use of what we have is not tough… one of our technologies is as shown below:

The Facts about Moola Garbhagriha of a Temple...

The moola gharbha griha of the temple (where the main deity is situated in) is always dark and there is no electricity used there. Why?

In most of the ancient temples in our country, we even now do not use electric lamps in gharbha griha or the moola sthaan (exception of a few recently constructed temples) this had a scientific reason with a tint of myth in it.

We believe that the God Almighty is a positive force, when we usually do the Prathishtaapana or the positioning of the idol in the temple we do the Aavaahana (that is the deposition of powers on an idol being placed, this was done to enhance the powers of the idols in the temple). Thus we consider it to possess energized protons (positive charges) and the electricity which we say, is a flow of electrons (negative charges). Hence when there is electricity in the ghabha griha the protons or the positive charges in the idol are attracted towards the negative charges(as the energy levels of electric charges are much higher than positive) of electricity thus the idol looses the factor called divinity, Shakthi (power) and much more. Thus in most of the ancient temples of India the supply of electricity is been tabooed. When observed, the idols even without electricity looks like it possess life and can feel the presence of it. The idol looks radiant with nothing but just a few lamps and divine they make us feel in their vicinity. It’s not that the electricity, can bring down the power levels of god( the idol), but it’s just that, we during havan, pooja, homa and the main being the Aavaahan during the installation process of the idol(the sound waves generated by the chants and mass prayers are done for the god to permit an ansh or amsh (atom) of his to invade the idol and do the needful(as we believe that an atom of his is more than necessary to accomplish the wishes of his devotees, as he himself cant descend until if the world in whole is in danger)) so again, the electricity and other negative forces can never defeat god it’s just that it brings down the level of the energized idol (only and not god) which again can be refilled by the same process called Aavaahana.

A few complaints, we get to listen from people that even after visiting temples, when they are mentally quite disturbed and depressed, they lack involvement (Bhakthi) and can’t dissipate their grief. The reason is that the electricity nullifies or completely turns it into nothing but an idol as the Shakthi in it is lost. The best way to know the difference between the two is to, first visit a temple which has no electricity in the moola gharbha griha except but a few lamps and then by visiting the normal temples with electricity supply in the gharbha griha, because it’s better to feel it for themselves rather reading it on a blog, as your feelings can explain you a lot more than the words we use.

Amazing Facts about Animals in our Epic and Myths!!!

There are a few myths in which there are facts mentioned about animals which not only seems to be interesting but also will get us startled for the knowledge Indians had, even before scientists made use of technology to find things out which they recently, a few years before did, and the same was found thousands of years before.

~ It is believed that Bat (an animal) were being cursed by kali that they would consume food and would excrete (both Urine and litter) from mouth, the myth is something like this:

Servachur Madurai Kali, an ansh of Mahakali of Madurai, took birth as Kannaki; a princess in an inauspicious time so as to avenge the king for having killed both of her devotees, please refer the story of Kannaki and Kovalan, where in her husband would be slew his head off his body without being investigated properly, for which she would burn the entire Madurai and start walking in enragement towards Trichy. Where on the way a few imbecile men start, to molest her for which she curses them to become bats and consume food and would excrete (both Urine and litter) from mouth. The thing which gets us startled is that we had a wide range of science including the study of animals (zoology) too.

~ Similarly another myth about frogs as to why can’t they taste.

Bhrigu Maharshi was an extremely talented person. Puloma was his pregnant wife. One day Bhrigu asked her to take care of Agnihotras while he went to the river to take a dip. In the meantime a Demon named Pulomudu came there and saw her. He was mesmerized by her divine beauty and he was filled with lust and craved to possess her. He then was thinking " Is this is divine beauty Puloma whom I wanted to marry?. Who should I ask now? Oh, let me ask Agnihotra".

Agnihotra was in a very difficult situation to answer the question of Pulomudu. He thought "If he tells the truth them Pulomudu will abduct her and take away and Bhrigu will curse for telling the truth and causing harm to his wife. If I tell a lie then I will have AsatyaDosha( A sin caused because of telling lies). What should I do now? I better take the consequences of a curse rather than lying". And he told Pulomudu that she was the wife of Bhrigu, Puloma.

Pulomudu said " I always knew she was Puloma. She was supposed to be my wife, Bhrigu never even thought about this and he married her." He took the form of a Pig and abducted her. Puloma started screaming for help, and she cried bitterly. Her tears formed a river on the way, thus forming the river Vadhusaradhi. The evil deeds of Pulomudu caused anger to the fetus inside Puloma. The fetus came out with extreme anger; he was called as Chyavana, a very powerful child. He came out with thousand times the brightness of the Sun. He was raging like a wild fierce fire. Chyavana fell on Pulomudu and he turned in to ashes. Puloma took her baby boy and returned home.

Bhrigu completed his bath and returned to the Ashram, he saw the river Vadhusara and was astonished. When he entered the house he saw his wife with a baby. She told him what happened. Bhrigu Maharshi became extremely furious asked her how Pulomudu could recognize her. Puloma said “As soon as he saw me he became lunatic, he went and asked Agni and got the information. He then broke in to the house like a Pig." Bhrigu became extremely furious and cursed Agni " You are such an evil doer. You shall be Sarva Bhakshakudu (eat anything and everything)."

Agni said “How can you do this to me, All I was doing was telling the truth. Is it a wrongful deed to tell the truth? A person who does not tell the truth or tries to hide Truth shall go to Naraka. I was afraid of AsatyaDosha and told the truth. I am the KarmaSakshi(witness of all action) for the whole world, How can I lie? You cursed me for uttering the truth. You are relieved as you are a Rishi, but I am a servant of the world and by cursing me you have harmed the world. All the offerings given to Gods and Forefathers are given to me, they receive them solely because of me.If I become Sarva Bhakshakudu, then I will become impure. And because of my impurity the day to day activities in the world will be stopped. If you wish to do this, then carry on". He then took his real form and the world became devoid of fire.

All the lamps went off at once, there was no fire anywhere. All the Yagnas were stopped, everything that needed fire was stopped abruptly including cooking. The Gods have not received offerings and they were hungry too. Everyone rushed to LordBrahma. He then realized that Bhrigu Maharshi's curse is responsible for all this commotion. He then called Agni and said “All the world has halted, please come back. You are very important for survival of all the beings. You are the source of food for Gods, and saviour of the World. If you are angry then it is very difficult for everyone. Bhrigu Maharshi cursed you to become Sarva Bhakshaka, his words wont go waste. You will remain pure, nothing can scathe your purity. You are the purest form of anything. Please come back and get the world going." He also prayed and requested Agni to come back. Agni calmed down and took his normal form, the world got back to life.

Of the fear of being cursed by Bhrigu, Agni hid himself in water and there was no Agni anywhere, all the devathas started searching for him. The frogs who lived I water could not bear his heat, and told the devathas where he was hiding out of enragement he cursed the frogs to be deprived of their taste buds on their tongue and could never taste looking at their plight the devathas then said that they could reach any desired place at nights for how much ever dark it was, later hid himself in a tree and when the elephants informed the devathas they again were cursed by him that their tongue would be turned inwards the devathas then said that they even then could eat and make incoherent sounds. Similarly the parrots were cursed for their deprive of speech and then was given a boon that after lot of practice they could speak and their voice would sound very sweet and so on… we at times might wonder that there were observations done pertaining animals in those days.

Only Men to Scholar Vedas & not Women. Why??

Why were only men sent to scholar Vedas in gurukuls and the reason for women not being allowed to chant Vedas?

The Vedas were mainly learnt by men, and women were advised to learn Vedas only if they were stubborn, adamant, living without principles and if were svairinis (these are homosexual women or lesbians). The reason being the Vedas itself, because the Vedas contained stories, illustrations, explanations and codes which explained the way to live(without ego),what to do? and what not to do, the knowledge of life, how to lead a life? and why to?. The only thing they try to highlight is selflessness and to renounce ego which was the primal factor. Hence these were asked to learn by men who possessed more ego and very high percentage of Svairinis who had all the qualities of a man. People now a days just recite them for money, which nobody understands that Vedas needed to be understood and not just to recite.

So, looking into the subject of why a woman was not advised to recite, (to highlight: one had to learn Vedas to overcome the ego or selfcenterness that he/she had). But, a woman when married she not only renounces her ego, selfcenterness, she also looses herself and her thoughts of one’s self. She always would have her thoughts, mind and soul functioning pertaining to her husband and kids, in accordance to their likes and dislikes (food or anything that she prepares for them), a lot of sacrifices are done by her just for the happiness of her loved ones, which provide no space for ego, there exists no ego as she completely forgets about self in a play called family, hence there was no need for women to study Vedas (so they didn’t have to and it wasn’t like that they shouldn’t). This later turned out to be a misconception that women should not recite or practice Vedas and were not allowed to recite, even without knowing the reason, which make people feel that it was one of the superstitions we had. Women could learn Vedas if they were Savirinis, being manly and a person of a very arrogant character( there are proofs of Svairinis who are believed to have performed great yagnas like Maha Kali, Roudra Kali, Jwalaothpanna Lalitha yagnas which even men couldn’t) and also similarly men were asked to learn if they weren’t Klibas (homosexual men).

If women were pregnant they weren’t allowed to stand in the vicinity of yagna kund where the Vedas were being recited, because of the fear of powerful sound waves being generated which is fatal to both fetus and the mother if she was weak. This was experimented by directing the sound waves produced by reciting Vedas and Manthras, towards a pregnant cat, which later was found dead including the fetus.

Why were the Princes under the control of Rajnarthakis until a certain age (after attaining their Puberty)?

The Rajnarthakis or the royal dancers who were hired to entertain the sabha or the assembly of ministers which included the King, At times the flock of upa-pathnis were also assigned the responsibility to care of the princes, the upa-pathnis are sometimes the dasis of king or queens, it is believed that they are a group of women who are sent with the newly married princess to her husband’s residence and the king treats them or accepts them as wives though they are not given the importance or the status of the queen, that she gained in the society.

So the princes were left with these women before the princes could start their schoolings (gurukul). These women had sex & at times forced the prices to, just to make them feel that the orgasm which lasts not more than 30-45 minutes was disgusting and there were much better things to be excavated about, regarding knowledge. Hence this helped them to overcome the overwhelming lust at the age when they attain puberty, which at times is uncontrollable, thus bringing about a disgusting feel in them about sex, that helped them concentrate much to scholar themselves in Vedas.

They were also made to understand the importance of a woman, the reason and the way to respect her, were also taught how to win a woman’s heart?

The importance of colors in Indian culture!!!

Ancient Indians planned things and followed them having science as base. Thus is the concept of sindhoor which is a topic of heavy misconception so far.

We thank God for having provisioned us the colors, by celebrating Holi. We also made use of them in the form of sindhoor; sindhoor is one which means filling an empty space in Sanskrit. There was an era when people had reasons to use jewelleries (the important jewelleries we had: the ring worn by married women in India on their toes is to have a healthy heart because an extension of artery vein of the heart ends at the toe adjacent to the big toe), clothing designed in a specific way and we had reasons for having them the way they were. Sindhoor is an accessory filled in the (empty space) partition of the scalp, which when combed, it starts from forehead (from the outskirts or the finishing edge of agna chakra) till the point of Brahma randhra which is a natural hole on our skull and the center of sahasrara chakra. This beautiful concept of sindhoor had a meaning of filling that empty or visible space of scalp when combed. sindhoor that we made use of, had different colors for a reason. The misconception that we have is that it is the symbol of chastity and soumangalya. The actual reason for using this was to gain a certain supremacy or control over a pupil’s mental status. It was not only women but also men used to apply sindhoor (which people think is an entity of decorative accessory) this was applied to absorb the sunrays of a certain frequency(as clothes of white in color is worn in summer and were not allowed to wear black, as it may increase the body temperature).

Women were categorized according to their behavior and status, thus were advised to use specific colors accordingly:
women who belonged to vernacularly typical middle class and of lower castes and especially whose husbands wanted their wives to retain their chastity except but themselves, asked their wives to use the color red as it would absorb the IR or the infrared rays of the sun which would heat up the layer in between the scalp and the skull which bring about an impact in their mental status and also in their physical body temperature in such a way that their sexual urges are retained but due to their physical uncomfortableness caused due to heat they would not be interested in the love making act until they reach a state of comfortableness (when body is cooled and warm) mostly during the evening or night and was the reason for a few to retain their chastity. They had another theory which says, that when a body was under a certain temperature the urges of a women increased so were eager for the return of their husbands, home. It was believed that lust was a medium for love to boost at times and thus it made them wait for their husbands return and built expectations pertaining their love making act and when they do not get the amount of love expected they started searching for alternates as mentioned in the world famous sex manual Kamasuthra, written by Nandi, which bore information of how to, when to and with whom to make love and have them under control, bound to love.

Similarly it was not only the color red which was used but also there are reports that say that the queens (Kshatreya women) were using the powder of gold as sindhoor, which reflected the rays of sun and the lusture of them heated the scalp but never left a dark trace due to the heat, behind(that’s the reason gold is special unlike other metals because they had very high reflecting factor and would leave traces of burns) the heat was to such an extent that the heat spread to the layer below the skull too and had its impact on brain and thus in-turn on the body for which they lost 69 to78% of their sexual urges, so as not to intervene much in the busy schedule of the kings for a mean desire such as sex. They nullified their emotions and urges and made them feel the irritation in the body due to heat. Hence due to the irritation they needed more space and ventilation, they rather preferred being not touched due to the irritation. When the queens refused this act of the kings, the kings thought of a new idea of having the same as jewellery called “naiythale bottu” used as an accessory.

Widows were prescribed to smear white or black in accordance to their mental status and a few more foresighted circumstances. Widows of a certain category were asked to use white sindhoor according to their mental status(and also looks, if bad) (which people now wouldn’t wish to call it sindhoor as they consider it unlucky being a widow) because, the color white reflects the sunrays and absorbs rays of very less wavelength which made them absorb very less heat due to which the state of brain was stabilized and was pure and due to this ease or comfort, arouse to them the thoughts of lust which when could not be gained(as they weren’t pretty) pushed them into a state of depression and were always isolated, which was done in order to make them realize about self(self realization). hence these women involved in activities such as handicrafts, pooja, prayers etc this was implacable to those who couldn’t attract men, they weren’t allowed to wear jewelries to decorate themselves(thus forcefully breaking and snatching if their decorative accessories were done) and hair being a highlighting factor of beauty for women in India, was forced to shave it completely so that they don’t attract men who were desperate to have sex for whoever it is(even if they looked better and not much beautiful). But, this became a practice as time varied and was followed as practices what we call the sanskaaras, and women were forced to undergo all these without knowing the reason behind these practices.

A few more widows who were capable of attracting very high stigma of lusty men and projected desperacy for sex, were asked to smear a black paste (ash mixed with oil). scientifically the color Black absorbs more heat and almost all the wave-lengthed frequencies of sunlight, thus there was an increase in their body temperature internally and externally due to which they felt a kind of mentally uncomfortable, due to the increase in temperature and thus wanted to be lonely. As the residents of the same place didn’t want them to approach men(their husbands and many others who is still in the progress of education) to quench their thirst of lust for how much ever they were desperate, hence this technique of increasing their body heat brought an impact on their mental and physical status and comfort levels, hence they didn’t wish to have any physical contact as it would generate much more heat which would cause annoyance and frustration.

Note: It is interesting to note that that the application of sindoor by married women carries physiological significance too. This is so because Sindoor is prepared by mixing turmeric-lime and the metal mercury. Due to its intrinsic properties, mercury, besides controlling blood pressure also activates sexual drive. This also explains why Sindoor is prohibited for the widows. For best results, Sindoor should be applied right up to the pituitary gland where all our feelings are centered. Thus there were different elements used to produce sindhoor of different kind in accordance to the requirement.

There were colors of very wide range in use, but as a matter of fact we just prefer red, white and at times black and orange…, we used a wide range of colors as each of those had their own significance in bringing a change in a pupil’s mental, physical and behavioral characteristics but these being an exception for Devadasis and Rajnarthakis. The local women including the queens and the women of very high status in the society also started learning the kaama shaasthra as they wanted to have their husband’s attraction over them, this was done because the devadasis turned out to be prostitutes and tried attracting men.

These are the pictures of sindhoor green and red.

How does the color of milk change when poured on an Idol?

A temple very famous in Tamilnadu in a place called Thirunageshwaram, and is known as the Rahusthalam, which bestows Rahu as the main deity, an idol of a seven hooded snake which bestows a lingam, which is the emphasizing factor of the miracle which occurs here. When there is milk poured on the idol(the main deity), the milk surpassing the lingam turns blue and again is turned normal after crossing the vicinity of the same.

This miracle occurs every time you pour the milk on it, and to our astonishment this miracle is ensued only when the milk is poured. This probably is because of the atomic structure of the stone and a few more characteristics and the molecular structure of the milk with its factor of viscosity would together play to endorse this act of astonishment, which can absorb a reflect back only a certain specific frequency of sunrays (sun rays has light of different frequencies like UV, IR etc) where each of these frequencies endorse wide range of colors, for this to happen I personally think that, even the factor of the idol being positioned is quite important. Though we come out with lot of scientific explanations we also know that at times science fail, because if we think it’s the paleness of the milk, then to our amuse this works on nothing else which is white in color.

The Startling Secrets in each Shakthi Peet...

According to the myth the Shakthi Peets are found, to trace back to the history of era, 17,28,000 years ago. During which the son of Brahma, Daksha Prajapathi didn’t invite Shiva for which Dakshayini burnt herself as we all know. Out of which Shiva overwhelmed with Shakthi’s death was mentally depressed, hung her body on his Trishul (Trident) and started wandering. Due to the stinkiness of the corpse, (and the unfinished job of Shiva) the Devathas were worried and asked for Vishnu’s help, who stealthily went behind Shiva and started slaying Shakthi’s body into pieces and peets were formed in places where these pieces fell. Hence the Shakthi Peets had their origin, where a few of them are not known yet as to where exactly are they situated till date.
A few things about Shakthi Peet :

The ornament called Ottiyanam used to cover the stomach including the waist was believed to have fallen in Kanchipuram, where the goddess is seen in the form of Annapoorneshwari and there are myth saying that this place was a significant one for Parvathi as she tried to restore the respect of Kamadev after the incident of him being burnt by Shiva. She also endorsed his act of having generated a feel or thirst for sex in Shiva by shooting an arrow at him for him to get attracted to Parvathi, by holding the sugarcane of Kama which he used as bow to shoot the arrows of love, lust etc. Here she poses as Annapoornaeshwari (as even as Annapoornaeshwari has sugarcane in her hand). The soil of this place is experimented to know the fact it endorses the cultivation of sugarcane better than any other vegetation
The Jaffna Devi or Shaankari or the Indrakshi temple in Sri Lanka is a fact of contradiction as some say that it was her anklets, but some say that it was her hands which fell here. When the Portuguese ships were landed in the coasts of Lanka the temple was being destroyed and left with nothing but a pillar. And hence they were being cursed of not being successful in any of their missions which people think was the reason for them unable to perish and sustain long as the East India Company of the British and many other countries who started invading different countries to establish their supremacy. It is also believed that Parvathi cursed Ravan for taking away her land of dreams(which was completely of gold) and thus cursed him saying that the coasts of the island will shrink every year and is observed that it does shrink 15mm an year. She also cursed that there will never be peace in that place and it is thus believed that the occurrence of violence in Srilanka is the reason of her curse.

There are 2 Shakthi Peets in Pakistan : one being the most famous Mahishmardhini temple.

The other would be the Hingula temple near the eastern part of Pakistan near Afghanisthan. Where the Bramharandhra part of Shakthi had fallen which not many do know or consider as one of the Shakthi Peet. The Gandhara nerve which runs across the Shasrara Chackra near Bramharandhra over the forehead part of skull near the eyes, has found to gain energy in this place, but scientifically the area is situated is, in a position where the factors like the longitude, latitude and the inclination of the globe are aligned in such a position, that the rays of the sun of a specific wavelength is received in this area which has the capability to energize the Gandhara nerve (according to yogic science the temperature and the angle of incident sun rays, along with the chemical levels of a body impacts the functioning of Gandhara nerve). The Gandhara nerve is one which contains a fluid moving in a certain speed in accordance to its viscosity which when delayed or flows with a speed more than the normal, affects the eyesight of a pupil as short or long sight respectively. Hence the incident sunray with a particular frequency in this place dominates the rest of the factors for the Gandhara to function normally and stabilizes it, which people think is a miracle of the place which when visited can help them overcome the defiant eye sight.
The Ghandhara’s of Mahabharath had their origin in this place. They were believed to have very good eye sight and a powerful one. The queen of Dhrithrashtra, who blind fold herself as she did not want to see the world which her spouse couldn’t, she gave up her vision for her spouse which gandharas considered was a boon to them it was so powerful that she once disclosed her eyes just once to see her son naked so that he wouldn’t be killed by any physical torment because her eyesight had the power to energise a body and bring about an immunity towards anything and her brother Shakuni had the power to command the dice to yield the result he desired just by his eye sight and will power some say but some say that it was a promise to him by his brothers that their bones from which the dices where made of, would always result according to his wish hence was the power of gandhara vamsha’a eye sight . Thus she was given a very respectful position as a chastitised woman. The Gandharas made use of a unique style in construction and decoration called the Gandhara style of art, which later prevailed till the period of Chandragupta Mayura’s rule.

There is another temple near orissa, where the genital organ (vagina) of Shakthi is believed to have fallen. This temple subsists on Kamgiri where the Goddess Kamakhya is situated in. here a wonder happens every year, that is, every 5 days in a year the temple would be closed by covering the Moolmurthi of Shakthi with a cloth, and nobody would be let in, for those 5 days. This is done because of the menstrual cycle (that occurs every month to a woman as the disposition from her womb is excreted along with the ovaries) and after 5 days of span when the temple is again opened the cloth left on the Shakthi roop would be covered in blood(which we call dispositions of the womb). During these days shakthi or devi Kamakhya represents bhoomi or earth, who disposes her menstural discharge on these days,Which again is a miracle for which people are dumbstruck and couldn’t explain as to how does this miracle occur, leaving man clueless except but, making him think about the existence of a supernatural power beyond the limits of real world, which we think is real.
